Tim's previous job was the program director and host of The Early Game at 107.5 The Game in Columbia, S.C., the flagship radio station of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.
He made the move to radio full-time in 2016.
Prior to that, Tim was the sports director at WOLO-TV, ABC Columbia, where he started working in 2003.
In 2006, Tim added a second job in sports talk radio, as co-host of The Matt & Tim Show, for 1400 The Team in Columbia. Alongside Matt Barrie, who has gone on to SportsCenter fame on ESPN, the Matt & Tim Show quickly developed a cult following and became known as The Barnyard.
Tim got his professional career started in 2000 as a weekend sports anchor and sports reporter for KRBC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Abilene, TX.
Tim graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Electronic Journalism. While attending USC, Tim worked part-time at WIS-TV and interned at WGHP-TV in his hometown of High Point, N.C.
Tim started his broadcast career in 1996, hosting a sports show for student radio at Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana. The broadcast career lasted much longer than his college baseball career.
Tim recorded one hit in his one season of college baseball at Centenary.
The proud father of three boys and husband to wife Teresa, Tim also coaches multiple youth sports and believes the benefits of being on a team are immeasurable.
